Refund policy

Exchanges & Returns:

All personalized pieces are custom made and therefore NON-EXCHANGEABLE and NON-REFUNDABLE. All sales are final on special orders, layaway purchases, custom makes, or any merchandise that has been altered or modified.  If you have any questions, please contact us at Support@theengravingplace.ca

Defective & Damaged Products:

If by any chance there is something wrong with your item, or it was damaged during transit, please contact us no later than 10 days after the estimated delivery date with your name, transaction ID, and a description of the problem. We will do everything we can get the issue resolved in a timely manner to ensure that you are happy with your purchase! If in doubt, reach out!

RETURNS

The Engraving Place Canada offers a 30 day return policy. You may return an item for a refund (minus Deductions) within 30 days of the original shipping date if the following conditions are met.

  • The item must be returned in a new and unworn condition. New and unworn condition means that there are no scratches, marks, or blemishes on the items. Items modified or re-sized are not considered new.
  • The item being returned must have the jewellery tag still attached to the item. Removal of the tag voids the ability for the item to be returned.
  • The item must be postmarked within 30 days of the original shipment date.
  • Items that have been resized, updated and/or repaired do not qualify for a refund.
  • You are responsible for the return shipping cost and the goods are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse.
  • Returns without a The Engraving Place Canada Return Merchandise Authorization will be refused upon receipt.
  • Returns with missing paperwork or product will not be processed.

Refunds are only offered to customers that receive the wrong items or damaged items. If any of these apply, please contact us at support@theengravingplace.ca with photos of wrong/damaged  items and we’ll sort that out for you. 

Upon acceptance of your return, a credit will be issued to the original form of payment less any applicable deductions.

Deductions

  • The Engraving Place Canada may provide a prepaid return- label for you to return the item. The value of this return label will be deducted from the refund. The Engraving Place Canada  will deduct the value of the bonus gift if the gift is not returned.
  • The Engraving Place Canada reserves the right to deduct any fees we incur at the time of package receipt - including duties for incomplete paperwork.
  • In cases where there is a coupon used to donate to a charity, the value of the coupon will be deducted from the refund.

RISK OF LOSS

The risk of loss and title for items purchased by you pass to you upon our delivery of the item to the carrier. It shall be your responsibility to file any claim with a carrier for a lost shipment if carrier tracking indicates that the Product was delivered. In such case The Engraving Place Canada will not make any refunds and will not resend the Product. The Engraving Place Canada will not be responsible for lost or stolen items.

INSURANCE

The Engraving Place recommends obtaining 3rd party insurance against lost or theft for any item received.
